Insight Research (one of the major US companies on innovation and market analysis and forecast) published a report on the mobiles market, the content management solutions, content distribution, DRM/CAS, and the content players for mobiles: http://www.insight-corp.com/reports/content08.asp
In the report, the Insight Research has identified AXMEDIS technology (http://www.axmedis.org) as the most promising and innovative research result and potential product with respect to the state of the art in the market of mobile technology tool. The President of Insight Research Corporation cited that “For mobiles, the content management technology that really stands out is the AXMEDIS framework”. In Section 3.8, of the above mentioned Insight Research report, AXMEDIS is mentioned as the future for the mobile distribution. And in particular: “The strong points of the AXMEDIS approach is that it provides a complete framework for content creation as well as the packaging of existing resources, content management, and multi-channel content delivery. It can handle very large amounts of information and it shows the applicability of emerging standards. [omissis] AXMEDIS shows how quite complex interactions between the many components can be achieved.”.
