In AXMEDIS, the tracking of content rights is performed by a Server that does not collect the identity of the final users, only their numeric ID so that the Users’ identify is absolutely protected. The Distributor that make the registration is the only one that may associate the User Numeric ID with the user information such as name, surname, location, account, sex, age, etc.

A good tracking can be a value for the user, to allow them paying only what they do for example. In addition, a good tracking can be a way to enable a user to exploits its rights when he/she change terminal, device, and location. A good tracking can be also used for tuning the service, providing offers, providing play lists, preferred content, etc.
